3-Day Fes to Merzouga Desert & Marrakech Tour

This 3-day adventure takes travelers from the historic city of Fes across the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains to the golden dunes of the Sahara before finishing in Marrakech. Along the journey, you pass through charming towns such as Ifrane, famous for its alpine architecture, and the cedar forests near Azrou Cedar Forest, home to wild Barbary macaques.

The trip continues through the scenic Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga, where travelers enjoy a memorable camel trek across the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars.

On the final day, the journey continues through dramatic landscapes including Todra Gorge, the famous Ait Ben Haddou, and the spectacular High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech.

Day 01 :

Fes - Merzouga desert

We will pick-up you in Fes and our private Morocco tour starts today driving across the Middle Atlas and cedar forest. Along the way we pass through Ifrane, which is famous ski resort , then Midelt, famous for minerals and apples. We continue via Ziz valley to reach Erfoud ,famous for fossil products and then to Rissani. We arrive to the Erg Chebbi desert where we meet our desert guide. We prepare for a camel ride across the Merzouga sand dunes and we enjoy sleeping in Sahara desert camp. That’s the end of 1st day of our tour from Fes.

Day 02 :

Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will drive to Rissani, Erfoud and we arrive to Todra Gorge. We will take a walk in the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our hotel the Dades Gorge.

Day 03 :

Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After breakfast we will take a walk in the gorge and then take the off road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis to arrive to Ouarzazate. We will visit Taourirt kasbah before departing to Ait Benhaddou. Here we visit the World Heritage Site. Then we will visit the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech. We stay in local hotel in Marrakech
